Lord, I welcome you into my life with the joyful and hopeful abandon with which Mary and Joseph welcome you into theirs.

God our Father, may we love you in all things and above all things and reach the joy you have prepared for us beyond all our imaging.

Valentine's Day

Today is also the Feast Day of St. Valentine, a Priest, martyred in 269 at Rome and was buried on the Flaminian Way. He is the Patron Saint of affianced couples, bee keepers, engaged couples, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travelers, young people. He is represented in pictures with birds and roses.
